I directed a behind-the-scenes film for MCASD’s exhibition Yan Pei-Ming: A Burial in Shanghai. Shot over two days, the film documents the museum’s curatorial and operations teams as they unbox, assemble, and install the monumental work. Rather than emphasizing spectacle, the focus is on the precision, collaboration, and care behind the process, offering a closer look at how a major exhibition comes together and inviting audiences into a part of the museum they rarely see.
